Here is my written response to the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health on their draft guidance on Perplexing Presentations and Fabricated or Induced Illness by carers. These comments were produced at the request of the RCPCH following a meeting between representatives of the RCPCH and the Department for Education to which I was invited.
