Why this matters now

My research published 28 August 2026, shows that information-sharing between services (MASHs) does NOT make children safer. Instead:

• Investigations increased dramatically
• Child safety didn’t improve
• Serious harm and child deaths stayed the same

The Government wants to expand this flawed system. We have until 4 September 2026 to demand change.

• Record decisions and tell families when they are being considered for investigation
• Measure whether child protection actually works (not just count how many investigations happen)
